Can anyone say FRIEND ZONE???
Not sure if I've mentioned this before but the entire script for Season 1 is done. DONE! Well, not completely done, because I don't generally write out all the dialogue until it comes to lettering. I hate to call it "making it up as I go" because that sounds really unprofessional, so I'll just call it "improvising it up as I go". Yeah, that sounds better. I always have a general idea of how every page is played out (I have notes for everything), but as far as dialogue goes I pretty much wait until the last minute to think of that stuff. You can just go ahead on add that to the stack of reasons of why I'm a bad writer. Oh well.
As I was saying though, this season has a definite end point and I plan on having it finished and ready for printing by next spring. (this is where I whisper something about a Kickstarter campaign coming in January/February). It'll probably be about 65/70 pages, including some extra stuff thrown in there. More on that later!
At this time I would like to talk about Tampa Bay Comic Con. It's this weekend (10/20-10/21)! I will be there with Kate, and we'll be selling our stuff as usual. We'll have our comics, prints, and Kate will be taking commissions. If you want a commission from me then there must be something wrong with you. Go get one from Kate. She's better at that sort of thing, and she's got crazy low prices. But if you insist, I'm sure I can be talked into anything (with a little alcohol). So if you happen to come, make sure you come say hi to us at table 63! SIXTYYYY THREEEEEE!!! WE GET LONELY AT CONS!
That's about it for this week. Thanks for reading!
