New page, woop woop. It would be nice if real life were more like this, where finding a new drummer literally only took a few seconds after you fired your last one. A man can dream, can't he?
So DragonCon was pretty much the balls. And by balls, I mean it was baller. And by baller I mean it was the bomb. And by the bomb, I mean it was spiffy. And by spiffy I mean I AM TIRED AND I NEED SOME GODDAMN SLEEP. But seriously, it was AMAZING! Kate and I went in there with no real idea of how things would go, especially since it was my first DragonCon ever. Kate had been as an attendee before, but she was also new to the Artist Alley (which is actually called the Comics and Pop Art Alley there). We were pleasantly surprised when we MADE THE MOST WE'VE EVER MADE AT A CON BEFORE. Not bad for our first out-of-Florida con. Considering how much time and money it took just to make sure we could be at the con, I'm insanely happy with how things turned out. We met some cool fans, made some new friends, found some rad artists, and did some cool touristy things in Atlanta. Successful weekend indeed.
I'm going to put together a more detailed recap of the whole weekend tomorrow, and I'll post it on the Naughty Bicycle website. And I'll be sure to include some pictures too.
Until then, rock on dork rockers!
