Well here's something. It appears Abe is doing a monologue, thinking about his goals and aspirations. Serious stuff, I tell you. Waaaaaaay too serious for me, so I had to put the word "FART" in there real big on the practice room wall. Fun fact: this is sort of based on the practice room my band just recently started using... you know, except for the word FART real big on the wall. And by practice space, I mean a storage unit with a carpet and electricity.

Here's a picture of that very practice unit:
So I decided I needed to start working more on drawing settings in the panels. I have only touched on this a little here and there, but I hope to get better at it in time. Maybe one day I can be one of those good artists. Except I hate to label myself as an artist, or illustrator, or even a writer. Not sure why, I'm just a friggin' weirdo I guess. I tend to label myself as a comic "maker" or "creator" for good measure.
Also. this is what I consider to be the start of the actual storyline for The Hall Monitors. The last 12 pages were kind of all over the place in my opinion, with a few minor plot points leading up to this. For the past couple weeks, I've been constructing a loose story arc for the rest of the first season of the comic (I call it a season because I think I'm clever by comparing a webcomic to a television program). I'm pretty impressed with myself. I actaully sat down and wrote something I don't hate, and I'll be expanding on that for the next few weeks. So come back next week and see what happens next!
Thanks for reading!

This is pretty hilarious. I find the word Fart painted large and aggressive on the background wall particularly amusing. Keep up the great work! I look forward to the rest of the “season”!
